Company > Staff Principal Investigator John K. Johnson 
The Principal Investigator is John K. Johnson, President, SoftThought, Inc. Dr. Johnson has responsibility for directing the company’s research, which presently emphasizes the development of artificial intelligence techniques applied to image processing and intelligent, autonomous systems. Dr. Johnson is jointly employed as a full professor of computer science at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO). His responsibilities include teaching Programming in C/C++ as well as upper level courses such as Graphical User Interfaces (GUI), Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Software Engineering and Computer Graphics. He has supervised the design and implementation of special projects for independent study including voice recognition, speech synthesis and other instrumentation provided for the disabled. He provides special studies in the development of programming techniques for robotics and other artificial intelligence applications.
Software Engineer Ryan Horn 
Ryan Horn is a student at USAO majoring in Computer Science and plans to graduate in December of 2006. Ryan is skilled in mechanics and electronics. He also has a strong background in computer graphics, JAVA, and C++. He is an excellent programmer with skills in Object Oriented Programming, Graphical User Interfaces and has command over several languages. He performs work Windows, linux, and mac operating systems. He works for SoftThought programming primarily in control applications. He has had an extensive background in electronics, sound equipment and mechanical design. He oversees all of the hardware design and applications. Ryan has been responsible for the integration of hardware for our current project.
Software Engineer Gene Pool 
Gene Pool graduated as an honors student from USAO majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. Gene has excelled in the design and development of applications. He has a strong background in computer graphics, JAVA, and C++. Gene is working full-time for Industry Systems inc. as a network specialist and hardware technician. He is an excellent programmer with skills in Object Oriented Programming, Graphical User Interfaces, digital signal processing, and driver development. He performs work in Windows and Linux operating systems.
