ALUMNI
HALL OF FAME INTERNET GALLERY
From the most diverse places they came, and to the farthest points they since have traveled. But one thing they all have shared: a life-changing educational experience at Oklahoma's premier public liberal arts college in Chickasha.
This proud history of honoring her most accomplished graduates began in 1972 when the College founded its Alumni Hall of Fame. Since 2001, these respected individuals have been depicted in a special gallery in the Student Center lobby. This new Internet Gallery was born at Christmastime, 2003.
During the Hall of Fame's first year, in 1972, few were surprised when internationally known American Indian storyteller Te Ata Fisher became the first inductee. During those years, the master storyteller was still traveling and sharing her beautiful songs and stories all over America and beyond.
In the years since, a tapestry of interesting and talented people have found their stories woven together as one: the exciting tale of USAO and its alumni. From scientists and musicians, to astronauts and business innovators, the USAO Alumni Hall of Fame features some of the most interesting people you'll ever meet.
We invite you to read more about these people who represent the best and brightest that USAO has ever produced. And we encourage you to nominate deserving alums so that we may continue this worthy tradition.
Each year in the fall, new members are added by the USAO Alumni Association. Nominations are accepted at any time in the USAO Office of Alumni Affairs, Troutt Hall 126, 1727 West Alabama, Chickasha, OK 73018-5322.
