Using the electronic database on the USAO Nash Library website locate and read the study published in the journal Aggressive Behavior entitled, “Evolutionary perspective on indirect victimization in adolescence: The role of attractiveness, dating and sexual behavior” by
Lindsey S. Leenaars, Andrew V. Dane, and Zopito A. Marini.
1) Provide an APA style reference citation for the article.
2) Summarize the literature review (studies that contributed to development of the hypothesis).
3) Identify the hypothesis(es) (predicted outcome) of the study.
4) Summarize the methods used in the study. (Describe participants, design, instruments used, and the procedures followed)
5) In section labeled “Results” identify the statistical analyses that were used to test the hypotheses about the “link between indicators of attractiveness and indirect victimization.” (You simply need to name statistical procedure used)
6) Summarize the findings of the study as reported in the discussion section of the article and report whether the results support the hypothesis(es) or not?
****NOTE: Be sure to properly identify any quoted material with “quotation marks” and identify the page number from the article that the quote was taken from. However, also be cautious of depending too much on quotes. Demonstrate your understanding of the material by summarizing/explaining the concepts using your own words.****
