The FAFSA is required to apply for all types of federal financial aid; including grants, loans, and work-study. File your FAFSA by March 1, 2014 to meet the Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant Program deadline for the 2014-2015 year.
The various USAO Foundation Scholarships are merit awards based primarily on scholastic promise and achievement; although character, service and leadership potential are also considered. Generally, scholarships are awarded to full-time students who maintain a minimum 3.00 GPA without consideration of need for financial assistance. Priority will be given to students who pre-enroll for fall 2014 and whose financial aid packages are complete. Applications received after April 1, 2014 will be subject to availability of funds. Recipients are required to correspond with the donors of the scholarship fund and should deliver a thank you card to the USAO Advancement Office, Troutt Hall 106.
