S. Brown Jacquelyn J. Knapp is a Special Instructor or Art at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She joined the Art Department in 1994 after receiving her M.F.A. from Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas. Knapp was accepted to the Chautauqua Institute's School of Art in 1992 where she studied sculpture under Ed Smith. Knapp received her B.A. with a professional emphasis in sculpture and drawing from USAO in 1987. Teaching responsibilities include: Drawing, Design, Photography, Jewelry, Creativity and Business of Art. Knapp accepts commissions in a variety of media and has exhibited widely. She has two sculptures on permanent display at the Griffis Sculpture Park in Ashford Hollow, New York. She has most recently collaborated with Kent Lamar on a 16' X 12' X 30" sculpture "Tree of Life", that was designed for a local church in Chickasha.
