Ringling Star Signs with
Drovers

Brisco McPherson,
head basketball coach at the University of Science and Arts, announced
Keaton King as the team's first signee of the 2006 recruiting class this
week.
King,
a 6-foot-4 215-pounder, averaged 14.6 points, six rebounds and three
assist per game as a senior at Ringling High School. The two-sport star
earned several awards during the 2005-06 season including being named to
the Oil Field All-Conference Team, Stephens County All-Tournament Team and
the
Daily
Ardmoreite
All-Area Team.
King joins a USAO squad that is three years removed from the NAIA national
title but will need to reload after losing two of the top five scorers to
graduation.
