Ringling Star Signs with Drovers

CHICKASHA – Brisco McPherson, head basketball coach at the University of Science and Arts, announced Keaton King as the team's first signee of the 2006 recruiting class this week.

King, a 6-foot-4 215-pounder, averaged 14.6 points, six rebounds and three assist per game as a senior at Ringling High School. The two-sport star earned several awards during the 2005-06 season including being named to the Oil Field All-Conference Team, Stephens County All-Tournament Team and the Daily Ardmoreite All-Area Team.

King joins a USAO squad that is three years removed from the NAIA national title but will need to reload after losing two of the top five scorers to graduation.
