Men Get Back on
Winning Track
CHICKASHA – Marcus
Hines was on fire Saturday night scoring 25 points as the University of
Science and Arts took down St. Gregory’s 76-65 inside the USAO Fieldhouse.
Getting back in the
win column after Thursday’s loss to Oklahoma Baptist, the win improved the
team’s record to 11-12 overall and 7-6 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
While Hines was the
go-to guy throughout the game, J.J. Walsh and Jose Nava got things going
for the Drovers. The two combined for the team’s first 10 points to help
USAO jump out to a 10-2 lead. Walsh finished the game with 14 points on
4-of-5 shooting and 6-of-8 from the free throw line. USAO steadily
increased its lead ending with its largest lead of the half at 42-24.

only three points in the final two minutes as USAO got the win. Stanley
