Men Drop Second in Texas

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – After a great shooting performance in the first game of the Texan Tip-Off Classic, the University of Science and Arts managed to connect on only 28 percent from the floor Friday in a 92-49 loss to host Tarleton State.

Avery Stephenson and Jose Nava led the Drovers for the second straight night with 12 and 11 points, but TSU had four players in double figures leading the charge. Nava only had six rebounds on the night, and his streak of at least 10 points and 10 rebounds per game ends after three games.

The Drovers are on the road Tuesday taking on Central Oklahoma. Game time is 7 p.m.
