Men Fall to Central Oklahoma on the Road

EDMOND – The turnover bug bit the University of Science and Arts in Tuesday night’s 108-69 loss at Central Oklahoma.

The Drovers (2-4) committed 22 turnovers that led to a 33-10 margin for UCO in points off turnovers and a 29-10 margin for UCO in fast break points. UCO had five players score in double figures.

USAO’s Jose Nava again led the charge scoring a season-high 25 points. The senior added 12 rebounds including eight offensive boards. Avery Stevenson scored 11 points, and Wayne Walls added nine points in only 16 minutes of play.

The men won’t rest over Thanksgiving break playing three games in four days. The team starts out Friday and Saturday night at the Oklahoma City University Classic and will finish up the November schedule on Monday at Southwestern Oklahoma.
