Men Fall to Central
Oklahoma on the Road
EDMOND – The turnover bug bit the University of
Science and Arts in Tuesday night’s 108-69 loss at Central Oklahoma.
The Drovers (2-4) committed 22 turnovers that led
to a 33-10 margin for UCO in points off turnovers and a 29-10 margin for
UCO in fast break points. UCO had five players score in double figures.
USAO’s Jose Nava again led the charge scoring a
season-high 25 points. The senior added 12 rebounds including eight
offensive boards. Avery Stevenson scored 11 points, and Wayne Walls added
nine points in only 16 minutes of play.
The men won’t rest over Thanksgiving break playing
three games in four days. The team starts out Friday and Saturday night at
the Oklahoma City University Classic and will finish up the November
schedule on Monday at Southwestern Oklahoma.
