Battle of Ranked Teams Ends in TieOKLAHOMA CITY – A conference battle between two top-25 teams ended in a draw Tuesday night as the University of Science and Arts let a one-goal lead turn into a 1-1 tie at Oklahoma City. Sophomore Rafael da Silva gave the Drovers a 1-0 lead at the 74:26 mark, but the Stars answered in the 81st minute on a goal from Austin Felice. Neither team could score in the final minutes of regulation or during the two overtime periods. With the tie, No. 12 USAO stays undefeated but falls to 7-0-2 overall and 2-0-2 in league play. No. 17 OCU moves to 4-1-2 and 2-1-1. The Drovers are back home Friday afternoon against No. 24 Southern Nazarene at 3 p.m. SNU, which is 3-3-1 overall, has beaten USAO three out of the last for times the teams have met dating back to 2004. ### |
