Third Drover Earns SAC HonorSHAWNEE – Senior forward NeNe Coulibally collected his first career hat trick in a 5-1 win over John Brown earning Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week award Monday afternoon. Coulibally is the third Drover this season to earn the Player of the Week award, and his three goals helped the 15th-ranked University of Science and Arts improve to 9-1-2 overall. USAO is currently second in the SAC race with a 4-1-2 league record. The top two teams in the conference earn an automatic bid into the NAIA Region VI tournament Nov. 3-11. Coulibally scored the first two goals of Friday’s match and became one of the team leaders with nine goals scored on the season. Tommy Hubbard also scored his ninth goal of the season against JBU, and Rafael da Silva has nine goals as well. The Drovers continue the stretch run of the SAC race Tuesday at home against St. Gregory’s at 3 p.m. ### |
