Adamson and Jay Collect Weekly Awards

SHAWNEE – After an undefeated week by both teams USAO soccer players Terry Adamson and Brittany Jay were selected the Sooner Athletic Conference men’s and women’s Players of the Week. 

Adamson, a junior from St. Michael’s, Barbados, posted his first career hat trick with three goals and an assist in the University of Science and Arts’ 8-0 win at Tabor College Aug. 30. Jay, a freshman from Tulsa, helped the women to a 2-0 start by scoring two goals including the game-winner in overtime at Northwood University. She also added three assists in an 8-1 win over Tabor. 

The men and women traveled to McPherson, Kan., on Tuesday and will have a week off before playing at St. Gregory’s next Tuesday. USAO’s next home game is Sept. 18 against Texas Wesleyan.
