OKLAHOMA CITY – Eduardo Leite scored his second goal of the season, but it wasn’t enough as the University of Science and Arts’ men lost 4-1 at No. 19 Oklahoma City Tuesday night. The USAO women also lost to the Stars 4-0 in the first game of Tuesday’s doubleheader.
The USAO men finish the season 8-7 overall and placed fifth in the league at 3-4. OCU secured fourth place and a first round home playoff game against the Drovers scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday. The USAO women will travel to the No. 1 seed John Brown Saturday for their first round playoff game. The time has yet to be determined.
The conference tournaments for both the men and the women are made up of the top eight teams with the highest remaining seed hosting. As the No. 5 seed and the No. 8 seed, the men and the women would need significant upsets in other matches in order to host a playoff game.
