USAO has superb music facilities.  Four performance locations are used for solo and ensemble recitals and concerts; the Alumni Chapel is used for Junior and Senior Recitals, Davis Hall Theatre for Band and Choir concerts and musicals, Davis Hall Choir Room for Student Recitals, and Te Ata Memorial Auditorium for large visiting ensembles.  Davis Hall contains 6 practice rooms for student use.  Davis Hall also houses the state-of-the-art class piano lab and a music technology lab for music students. Two large classrooms are used for music theory, music history and music education classes. The music classrooms are equipped with a computer with projection capabilities, a MIDI master controller keyboard, amplifier and monitors, various music softwares and recording technology equipment. The spacious Band and Choir rooms can accommodate up to 70 students. Steinway Grand Pianos are located in the Alumni Chapel and Te Ata Memorial Auditorium. The USAO Ballroom has a 7-foot Kawai grand.
