
BRAMBLETT, Jerry Wayne Bramblett
Jerry Wayne Bramblett was born April 29, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to
Vernon N. and Lela Mavohlee (Singleton) Bramblett. He passed from this life on
Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at his home east of Cement.
Jerry grew up in Verden and graduated
from Verden High School. He attended the University of Oklahoma for 2 years,
then attended USAO in Chickasha. He served 4 years in the Army Reserve. He was a
heavy equipment operator until his health failed, and also drove a bus for the
Alex Schools. He was very talented musically, playing the guitar and banjo, and
also wrote music. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his
father. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Downs Bramblett of Cement; his son,
Bryan Bramblett and wife Melissa of Alex; his daughter, Kristina Womack and
husband Brandon of Verden; three grandchildren, Brandi, Bethany and Wyatt
Womack; his mother and step-father, Mavohlee and Walton Lynn of Chickasha; his
brother Donald Bramblett and wife Della of Pocasset; two nieces, and one nephew
Neysha and Mont Baker of Chickasha; Chandra and Van Monroe of Sterling, and
Matthew and Malisa Bramblett of Chickasha; numerous cousins and other relatives
and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Verden,
with the Pastor, Tom Greenfield, and Bro. Larry Harris, Pastor of the Tuttle
Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery
North of Chickasha. Viewing will be until 9:00 PM, Friday at the Steverson
Funeral Home in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
