Velma Irene Olive
VELMA IRENE OLIVE BURNS, died December 27, 2004. She was born in Paoli,
OK to the late Beulah Moore Olive and the late Walter Olive. A graduate of
Oklahoma College for Women and a physicist at the National Bureau of Standards,
she was preceded in death by her husband, Odis N. Burns. She is survived by her
son, Walter Burns daughter, Sandy May and grandchildren, Stephen, Carolyn,
Lindsey, and Jeremy May. The memorial service is at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December
30, 2004 at Memorial United Methodist Church, 804 Gammon Rd., Virginia Beach,
