
DUNN, Margaret Clay Dunn
Services for Margaret Clay Dunn, 92, will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27,
2006, at Sulphur United Methodist Church with the Rev. David George officiating.
Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Born on Sept. 20, 1914, in Okfuskee, Okla., to Henry Grady and Myrtle Hunter
Fuqua, she died on Sept. 24, 2006, in Sulphur. Raised in Altus and Grandfield,
where she graduated from high school and was chosen football queen, She attended
Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha and Oklahoma Baptist University in
Shawnee. She married Amos N. Dunn on Aug. 2, 1933, in Guthrie and they moved to
Sulphur where they owned and operated Dunn Funeral Home until they retired.
She
was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 29, 1987. Survivors include a
daughter and son-in-law, Patsy Ann and Lowell Malloy, Sulphur; a son and
daughter-in-law, Mike and Mary Dunn, Munster, Ind.; a grandson and his wife,
Mike and Letha Malloy, Byng; granddaughter and her husband, Nicole and Ted Eull,
Miami, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Dyana Malloy, Byng; sister and
brother-in-law, Lila and George Gaines, Orange City, Fla.; a niece and nephew,
Pebbles Gaines and Rocky Gaines. Bearers will be Eddie Paul Hunter, Bill
Chaffin, Rocky Gaines, Ted Eull, Dr. G.T. Easley and Major Clagg. Clagg Funeral
Home will direct services.
