CHICKASHA – When in Rome, Dr. Daniel Gargola may know how to do what the Romans do – or at least what the ancient ones did. The history professor from the University of Kentucky will give a special presentation March 7 at the University of Science and Arts at 2:30 p.m.
CHICKASHA – The 17th Street Players are taking a scandalous look at infidelity and life behind bedroom doors when they present a reader’s theatre performance of “Orange Flower Water” at the University of Science and Arts. The University’s drama club is staging the show March 2 in the Davis Hall Little Theatre at 8 p.m.
Local artist Patricia Morgan is hosting a collage-making workshop at her home studio in Chickasha from 1-4 p.m. on March 3. For $15, students of all ages will learn collage techniques from the Chickasha High School art teacher. Each student will create an original collage to take home. The workshop is open to the public, but space is limited.
