Shaw, Betty (Bill) Betty (Mrs. Bill) Shaw, of Oklahoma City, passed away December 7, 2007. She was born in Amarillo, Texas and graduated from Los Alamos High School in San Antonio, Texas. She later moved to Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the Oklahoma College for Women in 1942. Betty was employed by Mobile Oil Company in the years following her college graduation. She met and, in 1948, married William T. 'Bill' Shaw, who survives her.

Betty is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whose lives were brightened by her warm and generous spirit. Betty was a longtime member of the First Methodist Church of Oklahoma City. She was active in the United Methodist Women, giving of herself to call on homebound church members and help with Vacation Bible School. Betty had a special talent for making and keeping friends. She and her husband were members of the Ball & Chain Club for over fifty years. Services will be held Wed., Dec. 12, 2007, at the Guardian Funeral Homes North Chapel, 11600 North Pennsylvania, in Okla. City at 10:00 a.m.
