Wes JohnstonChickasha attorney Wes Johnston was appointed to the USAO Board of Regents by Gov. Brad Henry in 2003. Johnston is senior partner at Johnston and Associates law firm in Chickasha. He earned his bachelor's and law degrees at the University of Oklahoma. He did additional graduate work at Oxford University in England. Johnston has served with a number of professional and civic organizations including the bar associations of Grady County, Oklahoma County, Denver County, Oklahoma and Colorado, as well as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He and his wife Lisa have a daughter, Ava. Johnston's appointment to the board continues a tradition in his family. His father, Kenneth R. Johnston, was appointed to the USAO Board by Gov. George Nigh in 1983. He served 15 years. Today, he continues in the private law firm he established in 1977. |
