Thanks to University of Mobile Sports Information USAO def. Reinhardt 4-3 USAO beat Reinhardt in a game that came down to the wire.
Michelle Bauer picked up the victory on the mound and freshman Hillary Brown
jacked 2 homeruns, while finishing 2-for-3 at the plate for the winning
team. Shastin Rader tried to pull Reinhardt back in the game with a 3-run
homer, but came up short. USAO 4 Mobile 2 The Lady Rams dropped a 4-2 game to U.S.A.O after giving up 7 hits and being held to just 3 on the game. Mobile led 2-0 after 5.5 innings thanks to a run-scoring triple from Kelyn Mendoza and an RBI from Anadys Suarez. U.S.A.O got all the runs they needed with 2 apiece in the 6th and 7th innings on the shoulders of two hitters. Morgan Thompson and Michelle Bauer finished with 2 RBI apiece to lead the offensive charge. Bauer's 2 RBI proved to be the differnce in the form of a 2-run homer in the final frame after Morgan Thompson had tied the ball gmae with a 2-run shot earlier.
University of Science and Arts at Oklahoma downed Rogers State 2-1 in a close affair. Hope Foley and Michelle Bauer combined to hold Rogers State University to 3 hits on the game. Megan Wood and Stephanie Eggers produced solid work on the mound for the losing team, allowing 4 hits. Day 2 USAO def. SHC 4-1 USAO def WCU 8-0 University of Science and Arts at Oklahoma pulled out a 8-0 victory over William Carey behind dominant pitching from Michelle Bauer. The freshman hurler went the distance for the shutout while holding the Lady Crusaders to 2 hits in the game. |
