USAO Basketball Camp Opens June 6

Students from Chickasha and surrounding areas are encouraged to sign up now for Brisco McPherson’s 2005 USAO Basketball Camp, scheduled for June 6-10 and June 27-July 1 at the USAO Fieldhouse. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-16.

A mini camp for students age 6-11 is set for 8:15 to 11:30 a.m. each day, with the registration fee at $60. Students age 12-16 are eligible to participate in a day camp from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration fee for the day camp is $120, including lunch.

For the first time, McPherson is offering a second week of mini camp from June 27-July 1 at USAO Fieldhouse. The camp, for students age 6-11, will cost $60 and run from 8:15-11:30 a.m. each day.

All campers will receive a T-shirt, as well as other awards at the end of each session.

McPherson, head men’s basketball coach at USAO, and assistant coach Vinson Metcalf will be on hand to give individual instruction to each of the campers. Members of the USAO men’s basketball team also will be available to train with campers.
