Drover Madness Scheduled for Nov. 1 

CHICKASHA – The Drover basketball teams began practice back on Oct. 1, but the official start to the season isn’t until Drover Madness. The annual kickoff to the University of Science and Arts’ basketball season is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 inside the USAO Fieldhouse and is free to the public.

Drover Madness, sponsored by Jake’s Rib and Shirts-n-Stuff, features games, prizes, giveaways, and free food from Jake’s Rib. There will be a live D.J., and George Plummer, of KOOL 105.5 FM, will emcee as the Drover basketball teams will be introduced and will scrimmage in preparation to the start of the season.

The USAO women host Oklahoma Wesleyan Nov. 2 in their season opener while the men host Langston in their season opener Nov. 3. Both games begin at 6 p.m. inside the USAO Fieldhouse. Both teams will be on the road until Nov. 17.
