Win Streak Ends at Four Games

LANGSTON Despite 22 points from Katie Sterling, the University of
Science and Arts suffered its first loss of the season 61-67 at CF Gayles
Fieldhouse Monday night.

Sterling ended up with her second highest point total of the season to
go along with six steals. Christina Brown chipped in 14 points including
three three-pointers, and Lindsey Monroe added 10 points and six rebounds.
But the Langston trio of JeCarie Owens, Teneisha McKinney and Jessica James were too much.

The three combined for 54 of the Lions¹ 67 points as the home team
outscored the Drovers by five in the second half.

Owens led the way with 24 points and seven rebounds while McKinney
posted 13 rebounds and five assists to go along with her 20 points.

The Drovers (4-1) wrap up their November on the road with two games
this weekend at the Southern Nazarene Classic. Friday USAO will play
Texas-Permian Basin at 6 p.m. The team will play Barclay at 6 p.m.
Saturday.

USAO will return home on Dec. 2 for a rematch against Mid-American
Christian at 6 p.m.
