Women Drop First Game

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark.  – Nikki Ganter’s goal in the 61st minute led John Brown to a 1-0 win over USAO, giving the women’s soccer team its first loss of the season.

Shots from Jessie Brown, Talita Guindani and Alex Cernigliaro found the gloves of JBU goalkeeper Natalie Wall preserving the win.

USAO falls to 5-1-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. The team prepares for a 5 p.m. kick Saturday against Oklahoma Christian at the Chickasha Sports Complex.
