Women Fall on the Road

SHAWNEE – The road trip to Shawnee didn’t go quite as planned as the USAO women dropped a 0-4 decision at Oklahoma Baptist Tuesday.

USAO, coming off a 1-0 win over Southern Nazarene, gave up three second-half goals in the loss. OBU’s Mangjun Zang scored in the 28th minute as the Lady Bison held a 1-0 lead at halftime. In the second half Lin Yan and Lauren Aldred scored twice for the home team.

The Drovers (6-3-2, 2-3-2) are back in action on Tuesday at Northwestern Oklahoma beginning at 5 p.m. The team returns home Oct. 13 for a 1 p.m. game against John Brown.
