USAO Shuts Out SGU

SHAWNEE – Stephanie Harris’ goal in the 87th minute was the only goal of the day and gave the University of Science and Arts a 1-0 win at St. Gregory’s Thursday afternoon. The Chickasha freshman scored her third goal of the season to help USAO stay undefeated with a record of 5-0-1 and 1-0-1 in conference play.

Kayce Godwin and Audrey Butler assisted on the winning goal.

SGU only managed two shots on the day and only one shot on goal. Chickasha freshman goalkeeper Emily Stephens stopped SGU’s only attempt for her first career shutout.

The Drovers look to continue the school’s longest unbeaten streak on the road Saturday at John Brown. The doubleheader begins at 1 p.m.
