Drovers Roll to 3-0LINDSBURG, Kan. – Chickasha freshman Stephanie Harris scored two goals and added two assists Tuesday afternoon as the University of Science and Arts dismantled Bethany College 7-1. The win was the team’s second road win of the year and kept the team’s record a perfect 3-0. The Drovers shook off an early goal by Bethany’s Maggie Bogan. Emily Stephens, a freshman from Chickasha, stopped the two other shots on goal to earn her second win of the year. Harris scored USAO’s first goal on a cross from Amanda Caldera. Caldera scored next on an assist from Jessie Brown. Destiny Rachel scored her first goal of the season on a break away up the middle. Harris assisted the Drovers’ next two goals – one from Caldera and one from Leigh Merchant in the second half to make the score 5-0. Talita Guindani and Harris scored the final two goals of the game on assists from Harris and Caldera, respectively. USAO returns home on Friday for a 1 p.m. matchup against McPherson College. Tuesday the team hosts Sooner Athletic Conference opponent Northwestern Oklahoma at 3 p.m. ### |
