Drovers Rally Past BulldogsCHICKASHA – After a sluggish start, the Drover women rallied with four unanswered goals to beat McPherson College 4-1 Friday afternoon at Drover Field and stay undefeated at 4-0-0. McPherson’s Monique Buhl put the visitors up 1-0 in the 13th minute, but freshman Alex Cernigliaro found an opening between the goalkeeper and the crossbar on a direct kick to tie the score in the 17th minute. USAO dominated possession out-shooting McPherson 22-5 and holding the Lady Bulldogs to only two shots on goal. It was only a matter of time before the Drovers started finding the net. Destiny Rachel scored off a header in the 37th minute, and Chickasha’s Jessie Brown added another goal in the 72nd minute off a rebound. Cernigliaro wrapped up the scoring in the 82nd minute with an assist from Talita Guindani, who had two assists on the day.
