Women’s Season Comes to an End

SHAWNEE – A goal in the final minute of play effectively ended USAO’s upset bid as the University of Science and Arts fell to Oklahoma Baptist 2-0 Friday afternoon on the road in the first round of the NAIA Region VI Tournament.

The Drovers just missed out on its second straight win over OBU after last Friday’s 1-0 win at home in the season finale. USAO finishes its season 11-5-3 overall after qualifying for its first regional tournament.

OBU’s Lin Yan scored the game’s first goal in the 54th minute, and Hilary Hendrickson put the Lady Bison up two goals in the 89th minute.
