Hometown Girls Headline Signees

CHICKASHA – Jimmy Hampton, women’s soccer coach at the University of Science and Arts, has announced the signing of three high school players including two from Chickasha High School.

Along with Alex Cernigliaro from Edmond North High School, Hampton received letters of intent from CHS standouts and sisters Robyn and Stephanie Harris.

Each of the three players were decorated high school players. Cernigliaro was twice selected all-district and all-city honorable mention. Robyn and Stephanie earned all-district and all-state honors at CHS.

The Drover women finished the 2005 season 8-9-2 overall and must replace 30 percent of its scoring lost to graduation including the team’s scoring leader. USAO’s first home game of the season is scheduled for a 1 p.m. Sept. 1 against Northwood, Texas.
