Magrath (Osborn) moved to approve the two computer science name changes.  Motion carried 35-0-0

Lamar (Brawner) moved to approve music changes.  Motion carried 33-1-1.

Magrath (Miller) moved to approve the political science package.  Discussion followed involving the elimination of two criminal justice courses.  Magrath (Miller) amended the motion to separate the two criminal justice courses from the original motion.  Motion carried.  Amended motion carried 25-1-6 (approved three new political science courses, dropping one).  It was noted that a program change page needed to be included in the curriculum request.

Magrath (Reigh) moved to recommend the withdrawal of the curriculum change involving dropping the two criminal justice courses with a PSCI prefix, resubmitting them as sociology courses.  Discussion centered around the value of including courses in the catalogue that were not being offered, difficulty in reinstating dropped courses, and the more reasonable inclusion of the courses in sociology.    Motion carried 25-4-1
