Biography
Mike Coponiti is Vice President for Business & Finance. Mike joined the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma in 1994 as an accountant. He later got promoted to Vice President for the Business & Finance administration in 2006. Mike also serves as Comptroller for the USAO Foundation.
At USAO, he supervises the Physical Plant and Maintenance, the Business Office, Food Services and the USAO Bookstore.
In the community, he is active in the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce and served as Treasurer, Vice Chair and Chairman from 2002-2013. He also is an active member of the 1st Assembly of God church and he serves as the Treasurer since 2003.
Mike and his wife, Laura, have a son named Cody and a daughter named Kaysee and a sweet grand daughter named Kenzlee.
The mission of the Personnel and Business Office is to provide financial and employment resource services and support for all functions of the University. We will exercise effective control over the financial resources of the University to ensure compliance with Oklahoma State Statutes and Board of Regents requirements. We will provide professional services and support to the University faculty, staff, students, and community by prompt response and effective communication in a professional manner. We will continually search for the implement better and more efficient ways to provide these services.
