Nine Days in Germany and the Alps
EF Educational Tours
Dr. Weber will be leading a tour of Germany and the Alps May 12-20 of 2008. Sites on the tour include Munich, Dachau, Rothenberg, the Romantic Road, Neuschwanstein Castle, the Bavarian Alps, Austria, Liechtenstein, the Swiss Alps, Lucerne, the Black Forest, the Rhine Valley and Heidelberg. You may add on optional excursions to Salzburg (home of Mozart and filming of The Sound of Music) and Mount Pilatus. You may also opt to add on two extra days, which include a Rhine River cruise and visits to Bonn (Beethoven's birth place) and Cologne. Housing Note: Students are housed 4 to a room, adults are required to pay an additional supplement as they are housed 2 to a room. All hotel rooms have private bathrooms. You may choose roommates if you have people in mind, otherwise you may be assigned roommates.
Payment Options: The $95 application fee is due at the time you sign up for the tour. An additional payment will be due by fall of 2007. The balance must be paid in full 90 days before departure (roughly mid February).
Passports: You will need to get a passport for the tour. Passports cost around $100. Do not wait too long to do this; it usually takes 6 weeks to process passports.
