USAO’s minor in cultural studies examines the production, dissemination, politicization, and contestation of meaning, as well as how this meaning transforms individuals, social relations, and power. The 18-hour program allows students to combine courses in economics, English, history, American Indian studies, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, and theatre.
