Non-Resident Student Scholarships

Non-Resident Student Scholarships

These scholarships require U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. You must enroll full-time at USAO during the fall or spring term(s) as a degree seeking student to receive the scholarship and maintain a minimum GPA (requirements) for renewal. Non-resident scholarships are also available in the summer terms; summer amounts are pro-rated according to enrollment and are available at less than full-time. GPA and degree-seeking requirements must still be met for summer consideration. Yearly eligibility for non-resident student scholarships may change from one scholarship to another, based on academic performance. USAO Financial Aid monitors GPA eligibility and automatically offers the qualifying amount each academic year. Fall to spring increases in partial non-resident tuition waivers are possible, but a full non-resident tuition waiver will not be reduced fall to spring. Non-resident tuition waivers cannot exceed the amount of billed non-resident tuition.

Complete college transcripts are required for transfer scholarship evaluation.
