First Time Freshmen Scholarships

2024-2025 Academic Year

All students newly admitted to USAO are automatically evaluated for scholarship eligibility. Six semester transcripts and ACT/SAT scores are required for freshmen scholarship evaluation. Complete college transcripts are required for transfer scholarship evaluation.

Complete your application for admission by Feb. 1, 2024, for automatic scholarship consideration.

Students may only receive one academic or talent scholarship unless otherwise noted. Students receiving a one-year scholarship are encouraged to apply each spring for continuing student scholarships in subsequent years.

All scholarships are competitive and may change annually depending upon scholarship funding availability and other institutional factors. Housing portions of scholarships are subject to on campus room availability and are not guaranteed. Students not living in on campus housing will not be eligible for the room portion of scholarship offers. Students must be enrolled full-time, be degree-seeking, and meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy.

To be eligible for new freshmen scholarships, students must be an Oklahoma resident, U.S. citizen and enrolled full-time. The deadline to apply for scholarships is February 1st, 2024. Scholarships are not guaranteed and are subject to available funding.
