WIFI Terms of Use
USAO provides free wireless Internet access for guests with computers and smartphones equipped with a WiFi network adaptor. A password is not required to connect to the Guest WiFi. By using the Guest WiFi at USAO, the user acknowledges that they are subject to and agree to abide by all laws, and all state and federal rules and regulations applicable to Internet use. To safeguard USAO’ network and its computer resources, appropriate criminal and civil penalties may be sought and imposed for use which is considered illegal or unauthorized. To protect the integrity, reliability, and security of USAO’ network for lawful and authorized use, monitoring and auditing of all network connections are necessary. By continuing to access USAO’ Guest WiFi network, you expressly consent to these measures.
Security Considerations
Although appropriate security measures have been deployed on USAO’ Guest WiFi to keep its usage as secure as possible, it is nonetheless an unencrypted network due to authenticated employee/student credentials not being required to connect to it. An unencrypted wireless network is by nature an unsecure medium, and there cannot be a complete expectation of privacy when using this service. As such, users should always be careful when transmitting their personal or sensitive information (e.g. credit card, passwords, student or health information) while using this or any free wireless "hotspot" services anywhere. Users will assume all associated risks and agree to hold USAO and its employees without fault for any data which is compromised, or for any damage caused to users' hardware or software while connected to USAO’ Guest WiFi network. All users should have up-to-date virus/malware protection as well as all current applicable OS security patches/updates installed on their wireless devices.

Use of the Guest WiFi connection is entirely at the risk of the user, and USAO is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damages resulting from the use of the service.
